2014 – How long does a New years resolution last?

2014. New year resolutions, New directions, New beginnings, all are the thoughts and ideas that we have to change from where we were in 2013. Some are big ideas, for some just a tweak in what we do.

How many of us honestly keep to those resolutions or do we tend to drift back to where we where and believed we made a change.

It is amazing we only reach into a couple of months or for most a couple of days to find there have been no change.

Paul makes the statement that we should renew our minds daily. (Rom. 12:2)

Renewing our minds mean we no longer think the way we did, we now allow God to show us His way, We have the mind of Christ 1 Cor 2:16, when we do, there is no need for New year resolutions, new plans or new directions, we now walk in the plans of God and they should be as exciting to us today as they were yesterday and will be just as so tomorrow.

Heb_13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Lam 3:22-23 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

What a journey to be on. HIS Journey. A New Years Day, Every Day.
