Day 1 - The Mission Begins

It was literally before the crack of dawn – not a time most of us like to see – with a mixture of excitement and anticipation the 15 strong Carmel mission team drove to Bristol airport.

From Bristol to Amsterdam and then onto Entebbe via Kigali – a lo-o-ong flight – and our presence caused a certain amount of turbulence in the skies! We were grateful to arrive at Entebbe greeted by the team in Uganda. An eventful trip, in true African style – luggage piled to the roof and people jammed in the remaining spaces, got us to the hotel. And lights out!
